It was little one’s third birthday last week and I can honestly say I don’t know where the last three years have gone. On the one hand it feels like only yesterday since she arrived, six days early, and yet I struggle to remember a time that she hasn’t been a part of our lives.Continue reading A Third Birthday

Chocolate Cheesecake (dairy free, egg free, nut free, soya free, vegan)
A chocolate cheesecake which is not only dairy free, but also egg, nut AND soya free. Oh, and it’s vegan. Yet it still tastes delicious, creamy, and decadent. Right, perhaps it’s best I don’t big it up anymore before you’ve tried it. But it is also super easy to prepare and perfect to make with kids.Continue reading Chocolate Cheesecake (dairy free, egg free, nut free, soya free, vegan)
Tesco Free From Cake Mix – Review & Creations!
During the last couple of my Tesco weekly shops I have popped a free from cake mix into my trolley. Before I continue, the recipes I create and include in my blog are, on the whole, healthy. An Allergy Friendly Christmas
Before having little one, food was pretty high up on the list of things I looked forward to at Christmas time. This will be little one’s third Christmas, and at two and a half, she’s really starting to get it and the magic has definitely returned! That being said, we all love our food, especiallyContinue reading An Allergy Friendly Christmas
A Dairy Free Party
The last couple of months have been really busy so I’ve finally gotten around to post about little one’s birthday. Little one turned two on June 9th. I imagine most parents feel the same, but I really wasn’t ready for her to turn two. She is changing everyday. Becoming more confident, learning new words andContinue reading A Dairy Free Party
Tuna and Sweetcorn Fishcakes
This is the second attempt at making fishcakes for little one. The first recipe I tried used tomato ketchup to replace the egg as a binding agent. Neither little one or her daddy and I were that impressed. Unfortunately I still have a tub of 10 little fishcakes of that version in the freezer, soContinue reading Tuna and Sweetcorn Fishcakes
Dairy and Egg Free Vanilla Cupcakes
For little one’s birthday party last week we had a choice of three cakes. Her number one first birthday cake was a vanilla sponge with jam and buttercream, covered in soft icing from Marks and Spencer. I also made chocolate cupcakes with a buttercream frosting. They were very unfriendly for dairy and egg allergy sufferers.Continue reading Dairy and Egg Free Vanilla Cupcakes
